LAKEVIEW DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP
The safe drop off and pick-up of students at Lakeview has been a concern of parents and the administration since the reconstruction of Croix Street and the limitation of parking in front of Lakeview. Through the Safe Routes 2 School grant we will be making changes to the drop off and parking area off Birch Street. During this transition we will reopen circle drive on Croix Street for drop off only. Please do not park in the circle drive and bring your students into the building.
We are asking all parents, who drive their children to school and need to come inside, to use the Birch Street parking lot and entrance by the gymnasium.
Please help us to create a safe environment for our students by following these procedures.
Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures
A.M. –
*Park in the parking lot on Birch Street if coming into the school building with your child.
*Just dropping off in a.m. – drop on Hungerford (aide supervision – 8:35 a.m.)
*Students dropped off for breakfast should be dropped off on Hungerford.
*Before/After School students may be dropped off in Circle Drive off of Croix Street.
*Circle Drive on Croix Street entrance to the school will be open from 9:10 until 2:30 for your for daytime visits, dropping items off, and early student pick up.
P.M. –
Park in the parking lot on Birch Street if coming into the school building to pick up your child.
Wait for your child by the upper gym hallway or in front of the office for p.m. pick-up.
